Equipment for process separation and pharmaceutical water
Pharmaceutical manufacturing involves solvent recovery and purification of intermediates. Evergreen supplies EVERFRAC trays, EVERPACK packings and column internals for these duties, with coalescers for applicable liquid–liquid separation services.
Equipment selection considers the fluid composition, temperature sensitivity, required purity, pressure drop and fouling potential. Engineering support can include hydraulic design, assessment of existing internals, revamp recommendations, and installation supervision, with the scope agreed to suit project requirements.
For selected applications using Evergreen equipment, process performance guarantees can be offered subject to agreed feed characteristics, operating conditions, and performance criteria.
For pharmaceutical water treatment, Evergreen is an authorised distributor of Liqui-Cel® membrane contactors and Electropure EDI modules (manufactured by SnowPure). These modules serve dissolved-gas control and ionic-removal duties within purified-water, WFI and pure-steam feed-water treatment systems.

API Synthesis — Solvent Recovery
Recovery of organic solvents such as ethanol, toluene, MEK, IPA and DMF from active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) process streams. Trays, packings, and column internals are selected for the mixture, required solvent purity and operating pressure. Coalescers can support phase separation where two immiscible liquid phases are present.

Vacuum Distillation — Heat-Sensitive Products
Distillation of heat-sensitive intermediates at reduced pressure to limit operating temperatures. EVERPACK structured packings, including wire gauze structured packings, provide gas–liquid contact with low pressure drop. Liquid distributors and other column internals are selected to suit the packing and operating loads.

Azeotropic / Extractive Distillation
Separation of close-boiling or azeotropic mixtures using an entrainer or extractive solvent. Trays, packings, and column internals are selected for the separation and solvent-recovery duties. Coalescers can be considered where the process produces two separable liquid phases containing entrained droplets.

Water for Injection (WFI) Systems
Electropure EDI modules for ionic removal and Liqui-Cel® membrane contactors for dissolved-gas control within suitably designed WFI treatment systems. Module selection considers feed-water quality, flow, sanitisation requirements and the overall treatment arrangement. WFI quality depends on the complete system and its validated operation.

Pharmaceutical Purified Water
Water-treatment modules for purified water used in pharmaceutical manufacture and equipment cleaning. Electropure EDI provides continuous ionic removal, while Liqui-Cel® membrane contactors control dissolved gases where required. Modules are selected for the feed-water conditions and the applicable purified-water quality and sanitisation requirements.

Pure Steam Generation — Feed-Water Treatment
Liqui-Cel® membrane contactors for dissolved-gas removal and Electropure EDI modules for ionic removal in water-treatment systems supplying pure steam generators. Module selection is based on feed-water conditions and the water-quality requirements specified for the steam-generation system.
